Why Is The Cherokee Purple Tomato So Popular?

Craig LeHoullier, reknowned tomato expert and author of “Epic Tomatoes”, named the Cherokee Purple tomato in 1990 after receiving a surprise gift of seeds from a John D. Green in Tennesee.
